Neolithic settlement, Bov



The prehistoric settlement near the village of Bov is located at the northern edge of the village, in locality “Livaditsa”. In this place has been found numerous fragments of pottery, as well as artifacts of stone, flint and bone.

The village is dated to the early Neolithic period (about 6000 BC) and is part of so called Culture of Western Bulgarian painted ceramics to which belongs also the settlement in village of Rebrovo.
